We collect data about how you use our, the time you access the Service and duration you for which you use it and selections or choices you make when using the Service.

3 Information about how you connect to the service.

We collect data about the computer or other electronic devices (“device”) you use to connect to the Service such as details about the type of device (which can include unique device identifying numbers), its operating system and applications connected to the Service through the device and your mobile network.

4  Information about your actual location.

Where you give us consent, we use information about your location, sometimes together with other Personal Information, to provide features of the Service that are relevant to you and your location. For example this can include allowing you to search for merchants that offer loyalty schemes through the Service in your local area.

If you connect to the Service via a social network such as Facebook or Twitter we will collect information from them in accordance with your privacy settings with them. This can include information such as your name, twitter handle, profile picture, network, gender, username, user ID, age range, language, country, lists of friends or followers and any other information you have agreed they can share.

Other organisations may provide information that we associate with you where they are lawfully permitted to share it, such as contact details, demographic data, or Internet navigation information.

If you do not want us to contact you by email, you can change your email marketing preferences by changing your settings in the Service. You can also unsubscribe from our marketing emails by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails we send to you.

2 Push notifications – where you allow us to, we may send you notifications relating to the Service.

For example, we may send you a push notification every time a special offer is sent to you. You can change your push notification preferences at anytime in your device settings.


We or our advertising partners (including merchants) may show advertisements to you on the Service.

To do this we or our advertising partners may collect information about how you use the Service. The information collected might also include a unique identifier of the device you connect to the Service.

1  What are cookies?

Cookies are text files, containing small amounts of information, which are downloaded to your device (such as a computer or smartphone) when you visit a website. As a result of the functionality of the Service some of the information generated through your use of the Service is shared with the merchants that provide the loyalty schemes.

We may share the following data with the merchants we partner with:

Your profile data including your name, date of birth and profile picture;

Any comments, ratings or reviews you make in respect of any merchant;

The number of visits you have made to that merchant and the amount of money you have spent in that merchant’s shop;

Your number of Facebook friends (or other social media followers).

Other than us, nobody (including merchants) will have access to your emails. Any communications from merchants in relation to or arising out of your use of the Service will come through us.

We may share your Personal Information with the following parties:

Companies in the same group of companies as us – our subsidiaries (i.e. any organisation we own or control) or our ultimate holding company (i.e. any organisation that owns or controls us) and any subsidiaries it owns. These companies will only use your Personal Information in the same way as we can under this Privacy Policy.

Service providers – third parties who provide a service to us. These third parties will only be allowed to use your Personal Information in accordance with our instructions and will be required to keep your information secure.

Law enforcement, regulators and other parties for legal reasons – third parties who we are under a legal obligation to disclose your Personal Information to or who we need to disclose your Personal Information to protect our rights, property or safety or the rights,property or safety of others, detect and investigate illegal activities and breaches of any agreement we have with you.

Buyers of our business – buyers of Arima Research and Arima Research LLP or any of its assets may have your Personal Information disclosed or transferred to them as part of the sale.

We do not disclose information about identifiable individuals to anyone else except as set out above.
